There is a Bible verse that says: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God and heaven. During my youth, we were taught by the churches that this applied to those who were mentally disabled or retarded.
But even as a child, I was extremely uncomfortable with this explanation. Because it didn’t make sense to me that a person had to be mentally unfit to qualify for citizenship in heaven.
That is why I recently touched on this subject again in Spirit and Truth. Whereupon I clearly received the following truth about it. It reads as follows: With the many translations and transmissions of the Bible, certain words and allusions from this verse have been lost.
This verse should therefore read as follows: Blessed and holy are those who humbly confess before the Face of God that despite all their insight and knowledge, they are still poor in the Spirit of Wisdom, Truth and Love. Therefore, HIS SPIRIT will be added to them abundantly.
Therefore, the kingdom of God and heaven will be abundantly present in their minds as well as hearts. Which means that the kingdom of heaven already belongs to them during their earthly life.
