AMON:  Of the Ammonites
GAD:  Gad was the oldest son of Jacob and Zilpha and the brother of Asher. He was one of the ancestor-fathers of the nation of Israel.
DIBON:  The capital city was Dibon. According to the Bible, Moab was often in conflict with their Israeli neighbours in the West.                                  MILCOM:  Milcom was a god of the Ammonites. He was presumably one of the gods of the realm of death and played a role in the death-cult (association of the dead). Milcom is mentioned nine times in the Bible, mostly in the Book of Jeremiah.  According to some, Milcom is another name for the god Molech which is also mentioned in the Bible.
