Someone wrote and said: The message and viewpoint that there is no life, heaven or hell after death, often comes from church ranks and lay preachers. They say that the dead will stay in an eternal sleep state, which is nothing but a total non-existence.
But as a meaningless consolation, their students are assured that God will remember them somewhere in His database. Then, in an uncertain, unmeasurable eternity, He will revive them from this total nothingness.
My answer is: God our Elohim is a God of the living and not of the dead. During His walk in the flesh here on earth, at one occasion he was confronted by legio (a thousand demons), manifested in the form of a possessed person, who fell down before Him, pleading.
Yes, with the question, did You, oh Living God, come to send us back to our place of punishment now? Often I have, in similar debates and arguments, confronted the supporters of -there is no life after death- with this fact.
With which they then often, wholeheartedly, agreed. The majority of them also affirmed the fact that demons are nothing but the deceased, self-condemned souls of humans.
Now I really would like to know why this incorrigible “devils” have the privilege to exist relatively free, as active self-consciousness, not only in the spirit-realm but also in the body of a man here on earth. Yes, while a child of God must eternally stay in a total state of non-existence, as a nothing.
My Savior came as a Human to teach us that there are many homes in the house of our Heavenly Father and that He had come to prepare a place for us there. Therefore He also came to conquer death for us on Golgotha during His walk in the flesh. So that you and I can live actively and forever, in full consciousness, together with Him. Our life here on earth is a test and in this test we strive to, through His Great Mercy, inherit eternal life.
In the reasoning and argument of the supporters of the viewpoint that there is no life after death, it implies that our Infinite, Living, Loving God is not capable of accommodating His beloved children around Him, in a living consciousness.
Just think of what use would it be to man, who was created in the Living Image of God, to bring forth children, and then command them to disappear into a non-existence. Yes, with a vague promise that you will preserve them in your memory, until one day when you may find it necessary to revive them, for your benefit.
So, let the supporters of -there is no life after death-, as self-living dead, go and bury their dead. And let those who want to live, as living beings in soul and spirit, when the end of their earthly bodies come, let them join their Living God. Where they can, actively and working in Love, exist blissfully with Him and in Him, for eternity.
