9 February 2018 Friday morning 05.15

One good day, two different men on earth passed away at the same time. And so the two souls stood before the Judgement Seat. One stood firm in the law and the other one stood firm in love.

The legalistic soul informed God, a bit pedantic and haughty. The law of Moses was his whole existence and therefore he, as self-appointed teacher, intensively reprimanded his neighbors about the law from early until late. He made them clearly understand that you may not look at the women of your neighbors with any desire.

But in secret the lust stood very strong inside himself. He reprimanded them that you may not kill, while on the inside he often denounced his irritating neighbor so much that he could drop dead because of it. He reprimanded that you may not interbreed in marriage, while his own bastard child would stand close against his own chest.

He also reprimanded sternly that the soul would perish in hell though stealing and this while his own yard would be filled with the goods of others. He also made a big fuss over the honoring of the Sabbath, yes so severely that a hungry, sick or old person could perish in misery before his own eyes.

He continued his narrative and said: Look, I have never taken a false oath with my hand on the Bible. But a lawless neighbor I quickly took to the authorities so that he could perish in prison for his mistakes.

The other one, uncertain about his humanity, but standing fast in love, perplexed he said: Oh God, today it is a big sinner coming to stand here before You. About the jota and title of the law I understood little and I admit openly that the message of the law also often passed over me like water over a duck.

But the little bit of bread that I had, with love I gladly gave half of that to my neighbor in need. In simple prayer I have placed my hands on the sick and dying, and in Your power often in a healing way. The Sabbath was Your rest in me in every day’s existence and therefore I could confidently put my hand to the plough on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday for a neighbor in need.

Father You know I am a sinner and my neighbor’s wife was very pretty and this You must also understand well. But I curbed the desire for her because I knew that without her my good friend’s world would completely perish. On one or more occasions, I also took something that was not mine, but the love inside me accused me strongly over this and with an apology I gave it back to the owners.

To my embarrassment, I must admit Oh Father that I gave false witness; yes I lied so that a neighbor of mine would not go to jail. But Father I also made that man to understand well, to not to make such a mistake again, even if it is just for the sake of his wife and many children.

Yes, so the two souls came to stand before the Judgment Seat, the one with an exalted legalistic soul and the other one a self-confessed sinner who so very much wanted to stand for love. And the Word went forth from the Judgment Seat. The verdict was: For both, let it be according to the love for their cause. Look, there is a legalistic heaven where the “law abiding” goes.   And in that heaven everyone can sternly reprimand each other from morning until evening about all the laws, for all eternity.

But there is also a heaven where saved sinners go and in that heaven everyone just wants to surpass each other in love and love again. In that heaven lives the Master of Love Himself, Who does not Judge through the law. But in His love, after He Himself was judged by the law, He would go ahead of His saved children of Love with His precious Blood.
