What will you benefit, oh human, by directing your feet toward evil? What will your soul benefit from treason, while you hate your neighbour for every reason?  

Look, from your tongue, scorn is dripping, while you damage everything around you.  For no reason you always feel burdened, while depression degenerates into a destructive monster inside you. Capable of suicide, you stand unfairly obstinate against God and heaven. Therefore, oh human, just calm down a little.

With a bit of effort, follow the advice of the Good. Add action to the word and make a friend out of an enemy. Make something good out of a bad situation. Forget the revenge and develop a little bit of taste for healthy fun and pleasure. Delight in the smallest task and through this, put vice in check.   

See the beggarly and observe the naked ones, and while being grateful to God, make clothes and food for them. Stand for heaven’s cause, while you continuously guard against evil. Yes, make God your friend and mate, while your soul will forever benefit blissfully from this.  While you know that in the life of man, good and evil continuously cross swords with each other. Because the soul determines her eternal value through the learning school of earth.
